GGI Overview

GGI is a climate-focused technology development and services company based in San Ramon, CA. Dedicated to sustainability and environmental protection, the company focuses on proven remote sensing and AI-driven Geoinformatics and technologies to uncover new strategies, automate asset management and field operations and improve operational efficiencies, functionality and safety in energy, utilities and precision agriculture industries.

We aspire to harness the power of multidisciplinary technologies to abate greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and its potential impacts on the key climate drivers and environmental sustainability. Our key solution areas include, automated renewable energy and energy storage site selection, electric and gas utility assets vegetation encroachment monitoring and controlling and wildfire risk analyses and precision viticulture. We use remotely sensed data from light detection and ranging (LiDAR) sensors, multi and hyper-spectral cameras, sonar, Radar and synthetic aperture radar (SAR) sensors carried in spaceborne, airborne (manned piloted and unmanned autonomous), vehicular and stationary platforms. We work with our channel partners to procure the geospatial data independently and from external sources and/or use customer sourced/acquired data to formulate the desired solutions for them. We are a small and nimble team. We make every effort to develop and deploy solutions that help our customers achieving their short and long-term business objectives and social values. In this approach, we work with the potential customers to understand and define the pain points associated to the opportunities, bring in the right resources and technologies, develop and deploy the optimal solutions to maximize their return on investment (ROI). As a lean startup we identify and work with the potential customers to define the opportunity before spending their valuable time and money in solutions development. This low-risk solution development approach results in quick and cost effective minimal viable products (MVPs) for our customers which can be enhanced incrementally to maximize value over a desired time frame.

Our cyber-physical system (CPS) and platform (which is a work-in-progress), RealMeasure™ targets three market places/application areas, renewable energy and energy storage, electric and gas utility and precision agriculture/viticulture. Unlike the other off-the-shelf SaaS, DaaS and PaaS products in the current market place, this CPS-derived technology platform will be able to customize customers' desired features and functionalities for higher efficency, effectivness and accuracy of their geospatial data analytics and resulting data products.
